Here is a one page of the presentation Mrs. Denney gave at the Regional High School Career Day. Paying For College
October – Central Texas College will host a Financial Aid, FAFSA, & Disabilities Student Support Q&A for seniors and their parents from 9AM-11AM. You need to register on CTC’s calendar page.
November – Central Texas College will help CCALL seniors register for either Summer 2017 or Fall 2017. Mrs. Denney will schedule the CCALL seniors a time to come down to her office during one class period to fill out an online application. Not planning on going to CTC? Think of it as a great practice in filling out a college application, consider going to CTC for the summer to knock out some classes before heading to your chosen college, or use it as a backup plan in case you can’t go to the college you originally wanted. Seniors who miss this day will need to apply on their own using this instruction sheet Application Directions (mine).
April – Central Texas College will provide Onsite Guidance to the CCALL seniors who are interested in attending CTC either for Summer 2017 or Fall 2017. Mrs. Denney will schedule the CCALL seniors a 10 minute time period to visit with a CTC counselor.
CTC will hold a Saturday event (date TBD) for seniors to explore the campus.
The bacterial meningitis vaccine (or exemption) must be provided to attend any college or university in Texas. All CTC students are required to submit their information through Magnus Health SMR. Once your CTC admissions application has been processed, you should receive an email from Magnus Health SMR containing your username (CTC ID with no c) and temporary password to access your account and provide the information required by the state.
